The owners of Saddle Up Riding Stables recently supplied the pony for a friends birthday party for her granddaughter. She highly recommends their services.

Churches make the most beautiful, peaceful pictures. I captured this one in Danville.

Even the grounds around the sign are like a sanctuary.

IndyGo is the name of the public transit system here in Indianapolis. Thanks to the brilliant colors and Ossip Eye Care, I couldn’t miss this one! :)

Church On The Hill

They recently completed the round-a-bout at W Morris and Raceway Rd in Wayne Township. I like round-a-bouts and believe they will help with the traffic movement on 100S. They already make a difference at this intersection. What used to be a long wait at the traffic light is now a smooth turn. The problem is, there is no where to stop and get pictures.

This church on the corner of the intersection is a favorite of mine to photograph. I’ve never been able to get a good picture until this week. This was a good week for taking pictures on the move. I did have to use the straighten tool on my photo editor. I can’t drive and take straight pictures.

This photo was taken heading north on Raceway.

This picture was taken heading east on W. Morris.

This picture was taken from the roundabout. I converted to Black and White with a blue background.

I know many believe this picture exemplifies all Indiana is. I have lived in places like California and Arizona and the perception of Indiana is………….

I love this picture! Believe it or not, it’s not something I see everyday!

I captured these photos while driving. It really was point and shoot! I wish they all turned out so well!

A Fall Drive

Driving west on 21st Street from Speedway to Avon provides a showcase of the beauty of a fall day. There are two areas where the trees provide a canopy across the street. Further along, the railroad overpass turned out to be another picture perfect view of fall.

I really enjoy driving this time of year. Every day brings a change to the scenery.

Bonus After the Rains

We have been deluged lately with rain; it seems like every day for the past 10 days has seen some rainfall. I don’t mind the rain, except the gray clouds make for some lousy pictures. Standing in the rain taking pictures isn’t good for my camera either.

On Tuesday, after the rain, we had a spectacular sunset, which I captured to share with you. I couldn’t get a lighter foreground. I didn’t care though, the sunset showed up beautifully.

Speedway Indiana Paints The Town

Literally, the Town of Speedway has painted the town or at least bits and pieces of it. Befitting the town, everything you see reminds you that you are in the racing capital of the world. Fom billboards to banners, water towers and the overpass.
